5 Daily Practices that will make your life happier

As the days get shorter and colder in Australia, sometimes the mood and emotion can get a little darker too as we fail to get the Vitamin D dose that definitely makes us all a little happier.

So here are 5 things that guarantee to add happiness into your life  – especially when done daily!

 

Gratitude 

I know you’ve heard it before, but you can never OD on gratitude. Truth!

Gratitude lists (written and verbal) are instant happiness booster’s. There are a few ways you can incorporate gratitude into your days and I use a combination.

Each morning before I get out of bed I list about 20 things I’m grateful for. Just in my head. When I get into my home office I write down 10 things I am grateful for – I have a diary which has a space down the bottom of each day to fit 10 things. It’s perfect. Then, before I go to sleep I say all the things I am thankful for from that day. Yep it may sound like overkill but trust my word when I tell you that it really is a magnet for abundance in your life. The more you appreciate what you already have, the more good, great and extraordinary you will attract into your life.

This dynamic chocolate drop (HIS WORDS!!) will brighten every day :) Simply by appreciating that he is a ‘messenger for love’ how could you not be attracted to his energy. I actually get goosebumps thinking about these divine messages. Being reminded every single day that you are an infinite being, that you are the creator of your world, that you can live deliberately any way you choose, all while knowing you are always supported. Life is Magic and even if you don’t see it yet, The Universe really is conspiring to help you be, do and have anything you choose.

Your life is about to get a whole lot brighter with these daily messages from the Universe.

 

Meditation

If I can meditate, so can you! Seriously. You just have to practice.
If this is something you already do – well done to you! Such a phenomenal way to really cultivate happiness from within. Being able to access that inner stillness is something super special and really life-changing in the way you think, the way you feel, and the level you can function on.

 

Exercise 

One of my all time favourite happiness boosters! Biochemically it IS a happiness booster through the process of releasing endorphins aka happy hormones. Any exercise is fabulous, but personally I find the higher intensity exercise gives me a bigger boost. On the other hand, Yoga through its ‘yin’ energy will certainly boost your happiness too.

Best tip – find what works for you and practice it daily!
